John: It's 2/27/2012 and I decided it'd been far too long since I last reached out. The 'Niner's almost reached the Super Bowl, the Giants flamed out early, but the Ross Street yard is amazing and Cheryl returned safely. Skip and I were recently commiserating about your absence. . . how we miss you mon! swjr
ReplyDeleteJust awoke from a dream in which John, Phil, Skip, Richard Cooper (smoking,of course) &, you, Stryker- were critiquing some script I had written. I took this as an invitation to remember - with a full and thankful heart - the many talented souls who shaped my life & whose example continue to influence my work. I'll be forever grateful for the faith that John had in me. How beautiful it was to encounter this site. Seeing the photos of him sucking every ounce out of life brings a sense of peace amid a profound sense of loss. Jacqui - if you read this, please know you are held in my loving thoughts.
